Davison County Sheriff’s Office to Receive Money for Mobile Video Units
PIERRE, S.D - Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that the Davison County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded $21,500 to purchase mobile video units to be used in drug investigations. The money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund. The award will assist local law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.

“The Davison County Sheriff’s Office would sincerely like to thank Attorney General Jackley for awarding us the funds to purchase the mobile video systems. The old saying ‘one picture is worth a thousand words’ rings very true in the field of law enforcement. The new camera equipment added to our fleet will make it easier and more efficient for my deputies to collect evidence, both video and audio, to aid in the fight against drugs. Thank you again for the generous award,” said Davison County Sheriff Steve Brink.

“The Drug Control Fund was created for exactly this type of expenditure to assist law enforcement in protecting our communities from monies taken from criminal activity,” said Jackley.
