Clark County Juvenile Charged with Attempted Murder
PIERRE, S.D – Attorney General Marty Jackley and Clark County States Attorney Chad Fjelland said today that a 17 year-old juvenile has been arrested on one count of attempted murder, class 2 felony, maximum sentence of twenty-five years imprisonment and/or $50,000 fine. The charge stems from an incident that occurred in the early morning hours of April 1st at a residence in Clark involving the stabbing of another juvenile. The juvenile is currently being held on a $250,000 bond.
The juvenile is presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.
Agencies that are assisting in this investigation are the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Police Department, Watertown Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
