North Sioux City Police Department to Receive Money for In-Car Digital Radio
PIERRE, S.D – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that the North Sioux City Police Department has been awarded $7,500 for an in-car digital radio to be used in drug investigations. The money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund. The award will assist local law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.

“The Drug Control Fund allows law enforcement to combat controlled substance abuse by funding local programs with monies seized from drug arrests,” said Jackley. “These funds will assist the North Sioux City Police Department to better protect its communities.”

“The North Sioux City Police Department appreciates the assistance from the Attorney General’s Office for the continued support to assist our department with our effort against controlled substance abuse. This radio equipment will be of great assistance to our department for our communications needs during these efforts,” said Chief Jody Frye.
