PIERRE, S.D –  Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that the Hughes County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded $5,780.45 for tasers to be used in drug investigations. The money was awarded out of the Drug Control Fund. The award will assist local law enforcement in drug control and apprehension purposes.

“I am pleased to accept this award and appreciate the chance to continue the outstanding cooperative relationship between local law enforcement and the Attorney General’s Office,” said Hughes County Sheriff Mike Leidholt.
