National Association of Attorneys General Summit Concludes
PIERRE S.D. - Attorney General Marty Jackley as President of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG) confirms the conclusion of the 2016 Attorneys General Presidential Summit. The Attorneys General conducted several panel discussions addressing challenges facing all states including: use of deadly force, legal issues of Internet gambling, mental health and substance abuse, protecting electronic data and more.
"Our nation's Attorneys General have come to South Dakota to share best practices for important issues that directly affect the States and the safety of our citizens,” said Jackley. "Our discussions with national experts will help us to better serve our States. The difficult topics have challenged us, and we have learned from each other’s experiences."
A thank you to the Attorney General community and all of our panelist for their participation. In addition, a special thank you for the hospitality provided by the City of Deadwood, Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore Monument.
