Six South Dakota Women’s Prison Inmates Indicted on Drug Related Charges

 PIERRE S.D. - Attorney General Marty Jackley confirms that six inmates in the South Dakota Woman’s Prison were indicted by a Hughes County grand jury on drug related charges.
The indictments are as followed:
Jacqueline Marie Carrera, 39
-one count ingestion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

-one count of possession of unauthorized article with intent to deliver to prisoner, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment and/or $4,000 fine

Charlene Kay Littlebear, 34
-one count ingestion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

Jennifer Jo Paasch, 41
-one count ingestion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

-one count of possession of unauthorized article with intent to deliver to prisoner, class 6 felony, punishable by up to 2 years imprisonment and/or $4,000 fine

Naomi Ruth Redowl, 32
-one count ingestion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine.

Amanda A. Spotted Horse, 35
-one count of accessory to a crime, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

Tahnasha Emilee Stricker, 28
-one count ingestion of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000 fine

These individuals are presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.

This case is being investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
