ATTORNEY GENERAL LARRY LONG WARNS VOTERS ABOUT TELEMARKETING SCAM 

PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Larry Long is warning South Dakotan residents about a voter registration scam. Unscrupulous telemarketers are reportedly telling residents they are not registered to vote and are then asking for social security number. 

Just remember that you cannot register to vote over the phone and if you have any questions regarding voter registration contact your county auditor or the Secretary of State Office at 605-773-3537.
