Four Rapid City Individuals Arrested in Medicap Pharmacy Burglary

PIERRE, S.D.-   Attorney General Larry Long said today that several individuals from the Rapid City area were arrested for their roles in the burglary of Medicap Pharmacy located at 339 St. Patrick Street in Rapid City on the morning of  March 24, 2009.  Taken from the pharmacy were several thousand prescription pills, much of which was recovered.

Law enforcement arrested 4 individuals for their involvement in the crime.     

Bryce Taylor, 21, Rapid City
Possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance
3rd Degree Burglary
Possession of a controlled substance
Obtaining controlled substance by theft 
$100,000 bond

Josh Crites, 25, Rapid City
Possession of a controlled substance
$50,000 bond

Christopher Crites, 24, Rapid City
Possession of a controlled substance 
$50,000 bond

Carey Feather, 24, 2009 
Possession of a controlled substance 
$10,000 bond

The Rapid City Police Department and the Unified Narcotics Enforcement Team (consisting of investigators with the Rapid City PD, Pennington County SO and the SD Division of Criminal Investigation) were involved in this investigation.
