McCook County Indictment

 

PIERRE, S.D.-   Attorney General Marty Jackley reports an Indictment was filed in McCook County recently in the case of State of South Dakota v. Randy M. Bauer (Age 52; Appleton, WI) and Jason Ollerich (Age 37; Sioux Falls, SD). Bauer and Ollerich were charged as follows:
 
Count 1: Theft By Deception (Grand Theft SDCL22-30A-3(1) and 22-30A-17). This is a Class 3 Felony which carries a maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment and/or a $30,000 fine;
Or In the Alternative
Count 2: Theft by Deception (Grand Theft SDCL22-30A-3(4) and 22-30A-17). This is a Class 4 Felony and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000.00 fine.
 
Count 3: Theft By Deception (Grand Theft SDCL22-30A-3(1) and 22-30A-17). This is a Class 4 Felony and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000.00 fine;
Or In the Alternative
Count 4: Theft by Deception (Grand Theft SDCL22-30A-3(4) and 22-30A-17). This is a Class 4 Felony and carries a maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000.00 fine.
 
The arraignment is scheduled for July 19 at 10:30 am in McCook County. Defendants are not presently in custody. Both defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
