Details Released in Deuel County Death

PIERRE, S.D.  – The Deuel County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation continue their investigation into the death of Thomas James Burdick, 26, Sioux Falls. The death stems from an incident in rural Deuel County on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Preliminary autopsy results indicate that no foul play is suspected.

Agencies that assisted were the Deuel County Sheriff’s Office, Estelline Police Department, Hamlin County Sheriff’s Office, South Dakota Highway Patrol, Codington County Search and Rescue, South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks, Deuel County Emergency Management and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
