PIERRE, S.D. -  Attorney General Marty Jackley confirms that the subject in the recent Box Elder Police Department officer involved shooting has been identified as Jason Wayne Traversie, 44, Box Elder.  The Box Elder Officer, who was involved in the incident, Officer John Cargill, has been placed on administrative leave in accordance with Box Elder Police Department policy.
