PIERRE, S.D.- South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that a Pennington County jury has returned a verdict in the 1975 murder case of Anna Mae Aquash. John Graham was found guilty to one count of felony murder kidnapping. Felony murder kidnapping is a class A felony that carries a mandatory life penitentiary sentence.
“This conviction is the result of as a strong, cooperative effort over the last 35 years by state, tribal and federal law enforcement and prosecution agencies,” said Jackley.
