Lake Andes Man Indicted in Sexual Contact Case

PIERRE, S.D.  –     Attorney General Marty Jackley and Charles Mix County States Attorney Pam Hein report that Kelly Joe Wells, 28, Lake Andes, was indicted today in Charles Mix County on one count of sexual contact with person incapable of consenting, class 4 felony, maximum penalty of 10 years imprisonment and/or a $20,000 fine and one count of abuse of a disabled adult, class 6 felony, maximum penalty of 2 years and/or $4,000 fine.
 
Wells is presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.
