Criminal Statistical Analysis Center (SAC)
The Criminal Statistical Analysis Center's (SAC) primary function is to serve as the clearinghouse in South Dakota for criminal justice statistical data.
The SAC maintains or has access to a wide variety of databases for statistical purposes which include:
- Crime in South Dakota
- Criminal History Database
- Criminal Justice Directory
- Murdered Indigenous Persons on Indian Country
- National Incident-Based Reporting System (NIBRS)
- National Use-of-Force Data Collection
- Number of Full-Time Law Enforcement Employees
- Police Management Study
- Sheriff Management Study
- Unified Judicial System (UJS) Court Data
- Uniform Crime Reporting
