LIAISON FOR MISSING AND MURDERED INDIGENOUS PERSONS
GENERAL INFORMATION: The Office of the Attorney General is prepared to launch the Office of the Liaison for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons. The OAG is seeking an organized, conscientious individual who is committed to open communication and accepting the challenge of reconciling the flow of information between multiple groups.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES INCLUDE: The successful applicant will facilitate and grow the channels of communication between the Office of the Attorney General, the U.S. Attorney's Office, the Department of Justice, State law enforcement agencies, and tribal law enforcement agencies. The specialist will also be working directly with tribal law enforcement to ensure uniform reporting procedures and to assist in the gathering of more information on current missing persons cases. Additional duties will include public service announcements and public relations duties to maintain a top-of-mind awareness regarding missing indigenous persons. Applicant does not need to be an attorney for this position. Salary for this position will be $58,234.32. The deadline to apply is Close of Business August 10, 2022.
