Search Warrant at Sisseton Residence Results in Two Arrests

PIERRE, S.D  -   Local law enforcement announced today that Brandon C. George, 28, Sisseton, has been arrested on one count of aggravated assault, class 3 felony, maximum penalty of 15 years imprisonment and/or a $30,000 fine. Pamela Mendoza, 47, Milbank, was arrested on one count of possession of two ounces of marijuana or less, class 1 misdemeanor, possession of drug paraphernalia, class two misdemeanor, and one count of obstructing law enforcement officer, class 1 misdemeanor.   

Charges stem from a call to service to a Sisseton residence. A search warrant was issued for that same location, which resulted in the discovery of 7.8 pounds of marijuana and $6,944.00 in cash.

George and Mendoza are presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.
