Attorney General Jackley Becomes Chairman of Conference of Western Attorneys General 
 

PIERRE, S.D  - Attorney General Marty Jackley has been selected to serve as Chairman of the Conference of Western Attorneys General (CWAG). CWAG addresses emerging legal topics and common areas of interest to the west including water, fish and wildlife, public lands, minerals, environment and Indian law. Idaho Attorney General Lawrence Wasden was selected as Vice Chair and Hawaii Attorney General David Louie was named as the Executive Board Member. Jackley would like to extend his appreciation to outgoing Chair Catherine Cortez Masto for her leadership and work on behalf of the Western States. Attorney General Jackley also serves as Vice President of the National Attorneys General Association.

"I am honored to work with my colleagues to advance areas of common interest to the Western States that directly impact South Dakota,” said Jackley.
