Lyman County Man Sentenced in Aggravated Assault Case

PIERRE, S.D  -  Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Clint James Brown, 36, Presho, was sentenced to twenty-five years for aggravated assault-domestic abuse, class 3 felony, punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment. Brown also admitted to a Part II Information for Habitual Offender exposing him to the elevated sentence of 25 year incarceration.
Charges stem from incidents that occurred on August 15 and August 17, 2012 in rural Lyman County. 
This case was prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office and investigated by the Lyman County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
