Roberts County Man Arrested for Threatening Judicial Officer

PIERRE, S.D  -  Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Eugene Herman Paulson, 77, Rosholt, was arrested yesterday on one count of threatening or intimidating a judicial officer, class 5 felony, maximum sentence 5 years and/or $10,000 fine, one count of offering a false or forged instrument for filing, registering or recording, class 6 felony, maximum sentence 2 years  imprisonment and/or $4,000 fine and one count of uttering simulated process, class 1 misdemeanor.

Charges stem from alleged threats made and documents that Paulson attempted to file during the course of a foreclosure matter.

Paulson is presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.
