Alpena Couple Arrested on Drug Charges

Alpena Couple Arrested on Drug Charges

 
PIERRE, S.D –   Attorney General Marty Jackley confirms local law enforcement executed a search warrant at 508 4th Street in Alpena last week and two individuals were arrested on the following charges:
Cindy Bartunek, 36, Alpena
-one count of unauthorized manufacture of substance with high potential for abuse, methamphetamine    and hash oil, class 4 felony, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or $20,000

-one count of violation of drug free zone, class 4 felony, 5 year mandatory sentence

-one count of  keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000.

-one count of  unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class  5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000

-one count of possession of marijuana, class one misdemeanor

-five counts of causing a child be present where any person is using, distributing or manufacturing methamphetamines, class one misdemeanor

-one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, class 2 misdemeanor
 
 Tyler Bartunek, 29, Alpena

 -one count of unauthorized manufacture of substance with high potential for abuse, methamphetamine and hash oil, class 4 felony, punishable by up to 10 years imprisonment and/or $20,000
-one count of violation of drug free zone, class 4 felony, 5 year mandatory sentence
-one count of  keeping a place for use or sale of controlled substance, methamphetamine, class 5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000.

-one count of unauthorized possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine, class  5 felony, punishable by up to 5 years imprisonment and/or $10,000
-possession of marijuana, class one misdemeanor
-five counts of causing a child be present where any person is using, distributing or manufacturing methamphetamines, class 2 misdemeanor
-one count of possession of drug paraphernalia, class 2 misdemeanor

Agencies that assisted with the search warrant were the Jerauld County Sheriff's Office, Sanborn County Sheriff’s Office, Alpena Fire Department, James Valley Drug Task Force, Pierre Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
