Allen D. Locke, 30, Rapid City, was shot and killed as a result of this incident. At the completion of the investigation, the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation will issue a case report and shooting summation to be reviewed by the Attorney General, Pennington County States Attorney and the Rapid City Police Department for a final determination on the officers' action. The release of the summary report is anticipated within 30 days.
