Attorney General Mark Barnett Announces 5th Annual Pie Day 

(Pierre) – Attorney General Mark Barnett announced today that the 5th Annual Christmas at the Capitol Pie Day will be held on Saturday December 7th from 11am to 3:00pm. 

The event will include free pie, coffee, juice and ice cream. Entertainment will be provided throughout the day by area talent. Entertainers scheduled for the day include, Cassandra Bender’s clog dancing, Midlife Special, Music Makers, vocalist Darrel Crocker, and Haakon County Crooners. The event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend. 

The event, which began in 1998, has drawn as many as 2000 people to the Capitol and the same is expected again this year.
