Two Arrested on Sex Crime Charges in Aurora County

PIERRE –    Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Christian Thomas, 41, Plankinton, was arrested on one count of aggravated incest, class 3 felony, punishable by up of 15 years in the state penitentiary and/or $30,000 fine and one count of 4th degree rape, class 3 felony, punishable by up to 15 years in the state penitentiary and/or $30,000 fine and Larry J. Unruh, 42, Mitchell, one count 4th degree rape, class 3 felony, punishable by up to 15 years in the state penitentiary and/or $30,000 fine.

Charges stem from incidents that occurred in a Plankinton residence involving a minor child.

Thomas and Unruh are presumed innocent until such time as proven guilty.

This case is being investigated by the Aurora County Sheriff’s Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
