Belle Fourche Man Sentenced in Identity Theft Case
PIERRE – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that Gregory Harrison, 43, Belle Fourche was sentenced to 10 years in the state penitentiary for aggravated grand theft and 5 years for forgery with both counts to run concurrent.
Harrison created false checks, stole identities and used payroll accounts from local businesses in the Rapid City area to obtain money. Restitution totaled $13,233.15.
This case was investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
