Law Enforcement Confirms Homicide Investigation in Grant County

PIERRE S.D. - Local law enforcement is conducting a homicide investigation in Grant County. A body was discovered by a landowner on the afternoon of Tuesday, May 17, in rural western Grant County.

This appears to be an isolated incident and law enforcement has no indication at this time there is any danger to the public.

The investigation is ongoing and is being conducted by the Grant County Sheriff's Office and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
