Openness Task Force Meeting
(Pierre) – Attorney General Larry Long announced today that the next Openness Task Force meeting will be held in Pierre on April 29th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Matthew Training Center in the Foss Building.
During the fifth meeting the task force appointed subcommittees for police logs, electronic records and publication of booklets or reference tools. “I am pleased that we have had some very frank discussions during our first five meetings,” said Long. “The members of the task force have had some intense but very productive debates.”
The agenda for the next task force meeting will include updates from the previously appointed subcommittees. The public is also encouraged to visit Attorney General Long’s website http://atg.sd.gov/ to view meeting notes, public record laws or join the discussion forum.
