PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley has issued a second Official Opinion on the implementation of Marsy’s Law as it relates to civil proceedings, ordinance violations, traffic offenses, and Sexual Assault Response Team meetings.

“I would like to thank the individual Task Force members for their continued work on the implementation of Marsy’s Law. Their hard work has been instrumental in addressing the issues that have affected victims, law enforcement, and the public statewide,” said Jackley.
