PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley and Brule County States Attorney David Natvig announced today that Brian William Biehl, 48, Platte, was sentenced to 5 years in the state penitentiary and a $10,000 fine.
Charges stem from money taken while employed as a law enforcement officer with the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
This case was prosecuted by the Brule County States Attorney and the Attorney General’s Office and investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation.
