Two Rapid City Men Arrested in Connection to String of Video Lottery Burglaries
PIERRE, S.D.- The Division of Criminal Investigation has arrested two individuals in connection with the string of video lottery burglaries which spanned 11 counties in South Dakota. William James Boblett, 37, Rapid City and Ronald James Spears, 21, Rapid City, were each arrested yesterday in Rapid City on one count of Receiving Stolen Property and one count of Possession of a Weapon or Tool with Intent to Commit Burglary.
This series of burglaries began back in February. With the help of numerous local law enforcement offices, the Division of Criminal Investigation was able to conduct a search warrant that lead to these arrests. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected.
