Aurora Man Pleads to Attempted Rape and Sexual Contact with a Child

PIERRE, S.D. –  Attorney General Marty Jackley and Aurora County States Attorney John Steele announced today that Robert Lincoln Will, 35, Plankinton, pled guilty to one count of attempted first degree rape, class 2 felony, punishable by up to 25 years imprisonment and/or $50,000 fine and one count of sexual contact with a child under sixteen, class 3 felony,  punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment and/or $30,000 fine.
A sentencing date has tentatively been scheduled for November 22, 2017.
This case was investigated by the Aurora County Sheriff’s Office.
