Aurora Man Sentenced in Attempted Rape and Sexual Contact with a Child Case

PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley and Aurora County States Attorney John Steele announced today that Robert Lincoln Will, 35, Plankinton, was sentenced to 20 years in the state penitentiary for attempted first degree rape and 10 years in the state penitentiary for sexual contact with a child under sixteen. These sentences will run concurrent. Will pled guilty on September 13, 2017, to attempted first degree rape and sexual contact with a child under sixteen.

This case was investigated by the Aurora County Sheriff’s Office and prosecuted by the Aurora County States Attorney’s Office and the Attorney General’s Office.
