BRIDGEWATER RESIDENTS INDICTED ON METH CHARGES
Three Bridgewater area residents were indicted by a McCook County grand jury on Tuesday after local, state and federal agents discovered a methamphetamine-manufacturing lab in their residence last week.
Leroy Newman, 31, Alton Newman, 38, and Nichole Reum 22, were indicted for manufacturing methamphetamine, conspiracy to manufacture methamphetamine, and possession of methamphetamine.
The grand jury indictment came as a result of an investigation by the South Dakota Highway Patrol, James Valley Drug Task Force, McCook County Sheriff, Sioux Falls Police Department, US Drug Enforcement Administration, and South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation.
McCook County State's Attorney Roger Gerlach and the South Dakota Attorney General's Office will prosecute the case.
