PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that David Anthony Stetson, 48, Corsica, has been arrested by complaint on three counts of theft by exploitation, class 4 felony, each count is punishable by up to 10 years in the state penitentiary and/or $20,000 fine.
The theft charge alleges that the defendant took funds from an elderly family member.
Stetson is innocent until such time as proven guilty.
This case is being investigated by the Office of Attorney General Elder Abuse & Financial Exploitation and being prosecuted by the Attorney General’s Office.
