Lufkins Autopsy Report Finalized 

PIERRE, S.D.-   Attorney General Marty Jackley said today the Michelle Lufkin’s autopsy report has been completed and that she died as a result of an acute Diphenhydramine overdose. Numerous prescription medications were found in her system and in her personal belongings at the scene.

The investigation is now closed pending any new information. Agencies involved in the investigation were the South Dakota Division of Criminal Investigation, the Robert’s County Sheriff’s Office, the Sisseton Police Department, the Bureau of Indian Affairs and Tribal Police Department, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
