PIERRE, S.D.- Attorney General Marty Jackley and Hanson County States Attorney James Davies said today that First Circuit Court Judge O’Brien has denied the Defendant’s Motion to Suppress Salgado’s statements in the Guevara murder case.
The Defendant, Alexander Salgado, faces charges of first degree marcher, first degree arson, and first degree felony murder for the death of Jasmine Guevara on November 10, 2009. Salgado is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. The trial date is set for July 26, 2010.
