2010 BALLOT EXPLANATIONS RELEASED

PIERRE, S.D.-  South Dakota Attorney General Marty J. Jackley has announced the release of the following Attorney General’s ballot explanations for the November 2010 general election: 

1. Initiated Measure 13 seeking to authorize medical marijuana;
2. Referred Law 12 seeking to broaden the State’s ban on smoking tobacco;
3. Constitutional Amendment K seeking to guarantee a right to vote by secret ballot; and
4. Constitutional Amendment L seeking to change the annual distributions from the Cement Plant Trust Fund.
