Individual Arrested in Roberts County Hit and Run
PIERRE, S.D.- The Roberts County Sheriff’s Office said today that Jonathon Yellow Earrings, 16, Sisseton, was struck and killed by a vehicle along County Road 34 south of Sisseton in the early morning hours of Thursday, May 27th. Zachary White, 18, Sisseton, was arrested during the evening hours of Thursday May, 27th, for Vehicular Homicide, DUI and Felony Hit and Run. White is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol was assisted by Robert’s County Sheriff’s Office, the Sisseton Police Department and the Division of Criminal Investigation.
