Mitchell Woman Sentenced in Forgery Case
PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long said today that Twila Ray Weischedel, 48, of Mitchell, was sentenced to 3 years on two counts of forgery, both Class 5 Felonies. Circuit Court Judge Lee Anderson suspended the penitentiary sentence on multiple conditions including jail time, restitution and probation.
Weischedel, presented forged subscriptions to local pharmacies in order to obtain controlled substances. She will serve 45 days at the Davision County Jail. The case was investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation and prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Richard Williams.
