Attorney General Larry Long to Host National 24/7 Sobriety Conference in Sioux Falls
PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long said today that the South Dakota Office of Attorney General will be hosting a National 24/7 Sobriety Conference September 12-14 at the Ramkota Inn in Sioux Falls. The conference will highlight a variety of issues encompassing the 24/7 Sobriety Program including drinking and driving issues, judicial trends, treatment programs, new technology in alcohol testing and the effect on corrections facilities.
The conference will feature a number of speakers including Dennis O. Romero, Acting Director for the Center of Substance Abuse Prevention. Representatives from the fields of law enforcement, substance abuse, judicial administration, corrections and others will be in attendance.
