Declaratory Judgment Filed in Second Circuit Court

PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long said today that on the 28th of December, 2006, his office filed a declaratory judgment action against Promising Future Inc. and Roger W. Hunt in Minnehaha County, Second Judicial Circuit Court. The complaint asks the court to declare that the Defendants constituted a "ballot question committee" during the last election and thus are required to file campaign finance reports disclosing the individual who provided $750,000 to the defendants for donation in support of Referred Law #6.
