Officer Involved Shooting Report Released 

PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long and the Division of Criminal Investigation today released the incident report following the investigation into the shooting of Joshua T. Gilchrist on January 26, 2007 in Huron. 

The Division of Criminal Investigation immediately conducted the investigation into the officer involved shooting incident at the request of the Huron Police Department. The report concludes that Sgt. Daniel Schlader and Officer Daniel Kight were justified in firing their weapons.
