Openness Task Force Meeting Scheduled to Meet in Huron

(Pierre) – Attorney General Larry Long announced today that the next Openness Task Force meeting will be held in Huron on July 17, at 1:00 pm at the Huron Municipal Building and Police Department. The meeting is open to the public.

In the upcoming meeting the task force will discuss the 1996 law that restricts access to information on state audits and investigations. The public is also encouraged to visit Attorney General Long’s website http://atg.sd.gov/ to view meeting notes, public record laws or join the discussion group.
