OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING REPORT RELEASED 

(Pierre) –Attorney General Larry Long and the Division of Criminal Investigation today released the incident report following the investigation into the fatal shooting of Donald I. Ange on October 19, 2003 in Rapid City. 

The Division of Criminal Investigation, assisted by the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office immediately conducted the investigation into the officer involved shooting incident at the request of the Rapid City Police Department. The report concludes that Officer Rich Holt followed Rapid City Police Department Policy regarding use of force and was justified in firing his weapon.
