Jaspers Arrested in South Carolina
(North Charleston, SC) Attorney General Mark Barnett announced that former Sioux Falls resident Marche’ Jasper, 36, was arrested in North Charleston, South Carolina this morning. Jasper was indicted June 22 by a Minnehaha County Grand Jury on one count of Grand Theft, a Class 4 felony, and five counts of Destruction, Disposal, or Removal of Personal Property Subject to Security Interest, all Class 6 felonies.
Marche’ Jasper is currently being held by local authorities in South Carolina. She has waived extradition and is being held on a $10,000 bond.
David Jasper, 44, was also arrested this morning in North Charleston, S.C. on federal charges.
Assistant Attorney General Paul Bachand is handling the case for the State.
