ATTORNEY GENERAL LARRY LONG RELEASES OFFICER INVOLVED SHOOTING REPORT 

(Pierre)- Attorney General Larry Long and the Division of Criminal Investigation today released the incident report following the investigation into the officer involved shooting incident of John Stevenson Lewis as requested by the Sioux Falls Police Department. 

The Division of Criminal Investigation immediately conducted the investigation into the officer involved shooting incident at the request of the Sioux Falls Police Department. The report concludes that Officers Scott Reitmeier and Mike Iverson followed Sioux Falls Police Department Policy regarding use of force and were justified in firing their weapons.
