David & Marche Jasper Arrested on State Charges
(Sioux Falls) – Attorney General Mark Barnett announced that former Sioux Falls resident David Jasper, 44, was arrested yesterday on a six-count state Indictment. Jasper and his wife Marche were indicted June 22nd by a Minnehaha County Grand Jury on one count of Grand Theft, a Class 4 felony, and five counts of Destruction, Disposal, or Removal of Personal Property Subject to Security Interest, all Class 6 felonies relating to his actions at D&J.
David Jasper was originally arrested on federal charges on July 13 in North Charleston, SC. He was transported to Sioux Falls, released on a personal recognizance, $10,000 unsecured bond, in federal court, and then he and Marche Jasper were arrested on state charges. They appeared in Circuit Court today for a bond hearing and their bond request was denied and remains at $10,000 cash or surety.
