KIMBALL MAN SENTENCED IN CHILD PORN CASE
PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long said today that Leonard August Schlepuetz, 72, of Kimball was sentenced yesterday in Brule County Circuit Court for 1 count of possession of child pornography. Schlepuetz was sentenced to 10 years probation and to serve 15 days in the county jail.
A private citizen had observed pornographic material on a computer in Schlepuetz’s home which led to his arrest. He pled guilty on February 2, 2004.
This case was prosecuted by Assistant Attorney General Todd Love and investigated by the Division of Criminal Investigation
