ATTORNEY GENERAL LARRY LONG APPOINTS FIVE TO STATE OPEN MEETINGS COMMISSION

PIERRE, S.D. – Attorney General Larry Long announced the appointments to the Open Meetings Commission. Those selected were Vince Foley of Codington County, Vaughn Beck of Edmunds County, Glenn Brenner of Pennington County, Lisa Rothschadl of Bon Homme and John Steele of Aurora County. Foley was named chair.

These state’s attorneys will review complaints of open meetings violations in South Dakota. The commission was created by the state legislature during this year’s session.
