OPENNESS TASK FORCE TO MEET IN WALL 

Attorney General Long announced today that the next Open Government Task Force Meeting will be held on September 28, at 12:00 p.m. mountain time in Wall. The task force will meet at the Wall Drug private dining room and the public is invited to attend. The 40-member task force took a break after passing three bills during the 2004 legislative session. The task force will pick up where they left off and focus on other areas of open government including the development of the Public Records Reference guide, a comprehensive description of all state government documents and records and their availability to the public. An update on the newly formed Open Meetings Commission is also expected. Attorney General Long encourages those who are interested to attend.
