Attorney General Larry Long Reminds South Dakotans of National Missing Children’s Day

PIERRE, S.D. - Attorney General Larry Long is asking South Dakotans to observe National Missing Children’s Day on Wednesday, May 25, 2005. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has dedicated this annual event for missing children since 1983. 

"This day serves as a reminder of how we should continue to commit both community and law enforcement efforts to the prevention of child abduction," said Long. "The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children has been implemental is coordinating these efforts and should be commended."
